Annual fire extinguisher maintenance is a vital part of your fire extinguisher cover and is required by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Failure to adhere to the rules and regulations regarding fire safety could result in prosecution and may also invalidate your insurance if a fire situation were to occur and the appliance fails due to lack of regular maintenance.

Your fire extinguishers will need to be inspected and serviced annually by  a competent person to ensure the appliances viability in an emergency. An inspection from a Guardian Fire Protection service engineer will ensure that your appliance/s have been maintained to the relevant British Standards and ready for action. Our fully trained engineers are all monitored and regularly assessed by external fire safety personnel to ensure that they have the skills/knowledge to carry out a thorough maintenance inspection.
